State College girls’ soccer blanks Mifflin County

State College scored three first-half goals and dominated possession in a 3-0 win over Mifflin County on Saturday to close Mid Penn Conference play.

Saede Eifrig headed in Emma Kerber’s corner kick, and Darina Roe and Allison Houtz also scored goals for the Lady Little Lions (9-8, 6-6 Mid Penn). Shannon Lear and Kristen Lenze combined for the shutout, though neither needed to make a save.

State College outshot the Huskies 19-1.
