Central tops Bellefonte in girls’ soccer

Bellefonte’s Mallorie Smith had a hat trick, but it wasn’t enough as the Lady Red Raiders lost 7-5 to Central on Tuesday.

Central scored five goals in the second half en route to the win. Bree McDaniel and Carolyn Seibel each scored a goal for Bellefonte, while Lynnsey Kauffman led the team with three assists.

Bellefonte is 8-8-1 on the season and 7-5-1 in the Mountain League. The Lady Red Raiders will be on the road on Thursday when they face rival Bald Eagle Area.
