Bellefonte girls’ basketball falls to East Juniata

East Juniata handed Bellefonte a 52-33 loss Saturday afternoon during the second day of the Juniata Tipoff Tournament.

Laurel Amay’s 17 points led the Tigers while Erin Heimbach added 10 points as they outscored the Lady Red Raiders 15-3 in the third quarter to put the game away.

Mal Smith’s nine points and Lauren Young’s seven paced Bellefonte (0-2), which hits the court again Monday at Jersey Shore.
