Philipsburg-Osceola girls’ basketball wins season opener

Philipsburg-Osceola edged West Branch 53-51 to win its girls’ basketball season opener on Monday night.

Halle Herrington paced the Lady Mounties’ offense with 18 points.

P-O overcame the scoring efforts of Skylar Ceprish, who netted 27 points for the Lady Warriors.

Philipsburg-Osceola will next host Tyrone on Wednesday.
