Freshman makes clutch free throws for Bellefonte in win over Huntingdon

Freshman Mallorie Smith sank two free throws with 10.6 seconds left to lift Bellefonte to its first win of the season, topping Huntingdon 38-37 Wednesday night.

Smith finished with five points. Lauren Young led the Lady Red Raiders (1-3) with 10 points and Maddie Steiner added eight.

Emily Kurtz and Maddie Gearhart each netted 10 for the Bearcats.
