State College’s Tobias Van Dyke named CDT Athlete of the Week

State College’s Tobias Van Dyke is a Centre Daily Times Athlete of the Week.

The Little Lions swimmer recorded two first-place finishes and played a part in a relay victory in a 128-57 win over Chambersburg last Tuesday.

Van Dyke won the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:43.71 and finished first in the 100 butterfly with a time of 52.35. Van Dyke, Matt Morris, Matt Brownstead and Jordan Hillsley took first in the 200 freestyle relay (1:28.08).

State College hosts Carlisle on Tuesday.
