Bald Eagle Area girls’ basketball loses to Huntingdon
A dominating third quarter pushed Huntingdon past Bald Eagle Area 54-31 on Wednesday night.
The Lady Eagles trailed by only six at halftime, but Huntingdon outscored BEA 21-10 in the third quarter, creating a daunting deficit.
Julia Cingle and Elizabeth Wellar chipped in seven points each for the Lady Eagles, while Maddie Gearhart had 14 points for Huntingdon.
The Lady Eagles (0-5) plays at the West Branch Tournament on Dec. 28.
