Drew Friberg’s game-winning 3 lifts State College over Chambersburg
With the clock winding down and the game on the line, State College’s Drew Friberg stepped up with the biggest shot of the evening.
With nine seconds remaining in regulation, Friberg nailed a clutch 3-pointer, giving State College a 39-38 win over Chambersburg on Wednesday night.
Friberg also led State College (4-2) in scoring with 15 points. Tommy Sekunda and Keaton Ellis each added seven points.
State College’s next game will be in the Kiwanis Tournament on Dec. 28 against Shaler.
