Clearfield pulls away from Penns Valley in boys’ basketball

Penns Valley fell behind early and could not catch up in a 51-34 loss to Clearfield on Thursday.

Tommy Hazel’s 24 points, 10 rebounds and six steals paced the Bison, who led by eight through the opening eight minutes and 30-17 by halftime. Will Myers added a dozen points and Evan Brown posted 10 points, 10 rebounds and five steals.

Luke Snyder’s 13 points, five rebounds and three steals led the Rams, who struggled through 25 turnovers.
