Tyrone handles Bald Eagle Area in boys’ basketball

Despite 17 points from Jordan Jones, a weak second quarter led to Bald Eagle Area falling 67-50 to Tyrone on Thursday evening.

Bald Eagle Area opened the game strong, scoring 18 points in the first quarter. However, Tyrone outscored BEA 14-5 in the second period and led 36-23 at halftime.

Golden Eagles were led by Parker Mitchell (19 points) and Dylan Thomas (25 points).

Bald Eagle Area (1-9) will next host rival Bellefonte on Friday.
