Tyrone tops Penns Valley boys’ basketball

Alex Weaver and Dylan Thomas of Tyrone could not be stopped as the Golden Eagles topped Penns Valley 56-38 on Friday night.

Weaver had a game-high 16 points, while Thomas added 15, with 12 of them coming from downtown.

Andrew Tobias scored 15 points to lead the offense for Penns Valley (7-6).

The Rams’ next game will be against Bald Eagle Area at home on Tuesday.
