Herrington leads Philipsburg-Osceola past Brookville

Halle Herrington scored a game-high 29 points to lead the Philipsburg-Osceola girls’ basketball team to a 59-56 win over Brookville on Monday night.

Herrington finished 20 for 26 from the foul line for the Lady Mounties, who trailed 28-17 at halftime.

Philipsburg-Osceola remained down by four points going into the fourth quarter, and Herrington helped the Lady Mounties close the gap and take the lead, finishing with 14 points in the final period.
