St. Joseph’s girls’ basketball falls to Moshannon Valley in overtime

Moshannon Valley’s Alexis Knepp hit a late free throw to send the game to overtime and the St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy girls’ basketball team couldn’t recover in a 44-39 loss Monday night.

Moshannon Valley outscored the Lady Wolves 7-2 in overtime.

Janina Romero scored 16 points to lead the Lady Wolves, while Emma Kitko finished with a game-high 21 points for Moshannon Valley.

St. Joseph’s hosts Belleville Mennonite on Tuesday night.
