St. Joseph’s boys’ basketball blows out Belleville Mennonite

Led by Nick Shearer, Saint Joseph’s Catholic Academy demolished Belleville Mennonite 55-9 on Tuesday night.

The Wolves (6-9) took a 44-6 lead over their opponents early in the first half.

Shearer led the scoring for the Wolves, tallying 15 points with five field goals — including three shots from downtown — and going 2-2 at the line.

Teammates Ethan Khoza and Jack Mangene also contributed to the efforts, combining for a total of 17 points.
