State College’s Drew Friberg named CDT Athlete of the Week

State College’s Drew Friberg is a Centre Daily Times Athlete of the Week.

Friberg scored a game-high 26 points in the Little Lions’ down-to-the-wire 63-60 victory over Harrisburg on Tuesday. The junior forward took control in the closing stages, recording State College’s final 10 points and fending off a Cougar comeback attempt.

Friberg and the Little Lions (11-3) host Chambersburg on Tuesday and travel to Cumberland Valley on Friday.
