State College girls’ basketball defeated by Cumberland Valley

The Lady Little Lions could not overcome a slow start as they fell to Cumberland Valley 51-44 on Friday night.

State College trailed by eight following the opening quarter.

Cumberland Valley had a well-rounded offensive attack with four girls in double-digit scoring.

Maya Bokunewicz led the way for State College (5-10) with 16 points. Taylor Love added 13 points.

State College hosts rival Altoona on Monday.
