Bellefonte splits girls’ swimming tri-meet

Bellefonte deafeated Penns Valley 97-27 but fell to Central Mountain 112-52 Thursday night at Lock Haven University.

The top performances for the Lady Red Raiders were turned in by Zoey Cole, who was second in the 200-yard freestyle; Alyssa Brezler, who was second in the 200 individual medley; and Esther Ebeling, who was second in the 100 freestyle.

Bellefonte also scored a second-place finish in the 400 free relay.
