Defense anchors State College girls’ basketball in win over Hollidaysburg

The Lady Little Lions’ defense held Hollidaysburg to only two first-half points Tuesday night as they cruised to a 53-32 victory.

State College (8-13) got out to a fast start, shutting out Hollidaysburg in the first quarter and leading by 29 at halftime.

Kayla Hawbaker led the way for the Lady Little Lions offense with 13 points, including three 3-pointers. Maya Bokunewicz and Taylor Love each added 11 points.

State College will be back at home this Thursday when they host Williamsport.
