St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy girls’ basketball wins first-ever playoff game
St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy girls’ basketball won its first-ever conference playoff game, defeating Harrisburg Academy 43-33 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference semifinals on Thursday night.
The winning effort was led by Janine Romero, who tallied a game-high 19 points. Romero hit six field goals, including a pair of 3-pointers.
Aubrey Weiss added nine points for SJCA.
SJCA faces Linden Hall in the Mid-State Conference finals on Saturday at Greenwood.
