Tara Baney pitches 1-hitter in Bellefonte’s win over Penns Valley

Tara Baney pitched a one-hitter to lead the Bellefonte softball team past Penns Valley 3-0 on Thursday.

Baney struck out seven and walked two in the win.

Carson Kustaborder, Emma DeHaas and Angela Capparelle each drove in runs for the Lady Red Raiders. Rianna Trexler paced Bellefonte with two hits.

Cassidy Stover recorded the lone hit for Penns Valley.

Bellefonte faces Clearfield on the road Monday.
