BEA softball eliminated by Penn Cambria

Bald Eagle Area softball’s season ended Monday night with a 4-2 loss to Penn Cambria in the District 6 Class 3A quarterfinals.

Zoey Surovec had a solid outing in the circle for the Lady Eagles, giving up seven hits, walking three and striking out four.

At the plate, Madison Ripka was the lone player for Bald Eagle Area to drive in a run. Brooke Woodward also stood out with a double and triple.

Penn Cambria moves on to play Philipsburg-Osceola on Thursday in the Distrcit 6 Class 3A semifinals.
