Site, time set for Philipsburg-Osceola in PIAA softball quarterfinals

The Philipsburg-Osceola softball team will meet Deer Lakes in the PIAA Class 3A quarterfinals at 4 p.m. Thursday at Mount Aloysius College in Cresson.

Deer Lakes, the runner-up from District 7, beat Karns City 16-6 Tuesday afternoon. The District 6 champion Lady Mounties defeated Pequea Valley 1-0 late Monday night.
