Vogel records top individual finish to lead Bellefonte girls’ golf

Bellefonte’s Cassie Vogel shot a 10-over 47 to finish first individually in the girls’ golf team’s match at Scotch Valley Country Club on Wednesday.

Vogel helped the Lady Red Raiders to a third-place finish with a team score of 181, behind first-place Hollidaysburg (160) and runner-up Clearfield (174). Penns Valley took fourth with a score of 217.

Avery Abersold shot a 65 and Keeli Pighetti recorded a 69 to round out Bellefonte’s score. Isabella Racette (67), Lydia Boeckel (74) and Brianna Morgan (76) represented Penns Valley at the match.
