Bellefonte’s Dylan Deitrich is a Centre Daily Times Athlete of the Week.

The Red Raiders’ quarterback turned in a performance for the ages Friday night, accounting for seven touchdowns (six rushing, one passing) in his team’s 55-28 victory over Clearfield. It was Bellefonte’s first win over Clearfield since 2007.

Deitrich carried the ball 15 times for 203 yards and finished 3-of-8 passing for 97 yards.

The wideout-turned-quarterback has been the surprise of the Centre County high school football season. And, although he’s played well all year, Friday was the type of game that’ll still be talked about 10 years from now.

Bellefonte is 5-1 on the season.
