Everything you missed in high school sports — and isn’t listed elsewhere in the CDT — from Wednesday:

Mallorie Smith sets career goals record for Bellefonte

BELLEFONTE Mallorie Smith may only be a sophomore — but she now already holds the Lady Red Raiders’ career goal record.

Smith scored six goals Wednesday in Bellefonte’s 7-0 girls’ soccer victory over Bald Eagle Area to give her a school-record 57 goals for her career. That Senior Night-performance already surpasses the previous record holder, Morgan Brooks, who graduated two years ago.

Smith scored 28 goals last season and, through 17 games this season, she already has 29 scores. That means Smith is averaging nearly 1.7 goals for every game she plays.

Bellefonte is now 10-7 on the year.

Penns Valley edges Huntingdon

HUNTINGDON Penns Valley’s Aliyah Fetterolf had the lone goal of the game in a 1-0 win over Huntingdon.

Fetterolf took a pass from Hannah Denger and recorded the score in the 68th minute.

Lady Rams’ goalkeeper Kylie Auman had four saves in the victory.

Lady Storm end regular season with win

TYRONE Clare Marsh tallied two goals to lead Grace Prep to a 3-1 win over Grier in its regular season finale.

Marsh’s first score came in the 23rd minute and her second opened the second half in the 45th minute. Abigail Galliano had the other Lady Storm goal.

Maddie DeNezza and Sarah Watkins recorded assists for Grace Prep, which was playing its third game in three days. The Lady Storm now wait to see who they play in the District 6 Class A playoffs.

State College falls

MILLERSTOWN The Lady Little Lions’ Grace Biddle made 11 saves Wednesday, but it wasn’t enough in her team’s 5-0 loss against Greenwood.

State College (7-10) will next take on Mifflin County in the District 6 championship at 6 p.m. Oct. 26 at Bald Eagle Area High School.

SJCA sweeps Grier

BIRMINGHAM Aubrey Weiss paced her team in attacks (12) and aces (4) Wednesday as St. Joseph’s swept Grier 25-22, 25-14, 25-16.

Maddie Helfer added five digs, while Ana Legaspi had nine kills.
