Campus Corner: State College grad Brett Graham punting consistently for UConn

Brett Graham, a former State College kicker, has been a consistent punter for the UConn football team.

He is averaging 39.2 yards per punt, has a long of 57, six punts of 50-plus yards and 17 downed inside the 20.

UConn is 3-6 after losing to UCF 47-20 on Saturday.

Football

Nick Gray (P-O, Juniata) has 22 solo tackles and 16 assists, one sack, one fumble forced, one fumble recovered and one interception returned 59 yards for a TD.

Jason Jones (BEA, Juniata) carried one time for one yard in Saturday’s 57-14 win over Johns Hopkins. Juniata is 3-6.

Austin Peck (State College, Juniata) saw playing time on the offensive line in the win over Johns Hopkins.

Peyton Edwards (State College, Juniata) has 28 solo tackles and 24 assists, two sacks, four tackles for loss, two fumbles forced and two pass breakups. Juniata finishes at home with Susquehanna on Saturday.

Aaron Boumerhi (P-O, Temple) is second on the team in scoring with 10 field goals and 16 of 16 extra points. Temple is 4-5 after beating Navy, 34-26, Saturday.

Cameron Tobias (Penns Valley, Lock Haven) has rushed 19 times for 18 yards, completed 76 of 127 passes for a touchdown and nine interceptions and punted nine times for a 35.44 average.

Kashim Buey (State College, Lock Haven) has caught three passes for 28 yards.

Bryan Greene (BEA, Lock Haven) is second on the team in receptions with 25 for 218 yards and has carried four times for 13 yards. Lock Haven is 2-8 after losing to East Stroudsburg 37-27 Saturday.

Nick Boumerhi (P-O, Lock Haven) has made five field goals and 21 extra points and has punted 33 times for a 32.88 average.

Taylor Collison (Penns Valley, F&M) has gained 285 yards on 27 carries and caught two passes for three yards. He has scored one TD. F&M is 8-1 after beating Ursinus 44-28.

Jon Seighman (State College, Lehigh) has made five tackles. Lehigh is 3-6 after losing to Bucknell 42-21.

Soccer

Kyle Moerschbacher (State College, St. Francis) finished the year with a goal and two assists. St. Francis finished at 10-8.

Lauren Anderson (State College, Misericordia) has scored four goals and an assist. Misericordia is 14-4-2.

Jordyn Powell (P-O, Misericordia) has two goals and an assist. Misericordia will play Hamilton in the D-III playoffs.

Saede Eifrig (State College, Haverford) has five goals and two assists. Haverford is 9-5-3 after losing to Swarthmore 2-1 in the Centennial Conference semifinals.

Volleyball

Taylor Leath (State College, North Carolina) has 274 kills, 10 assists, 15 aces, 163 digs and 45 blocks. North Carolina is 12-10.

Christine Irwin (State College, Juniata) has 28 kills, an assist, two aces, 17 digs and five blocks. Juniata (23-8) won its 11th straight Landmark Conference title and meets Brockport in the NCAA Division III tournament.

Sydney McNulty (State College, Geneva) finished with 191 kills, 24 assists, 41 aces, 240 digs and 30 blocks. Geneva finished with a13-21 record.

Vee Skripek (BEA, Penn Sate-Altoona) has 119 kills, eight assists, 18 aces, 104 digs and two blocks. Altoona is 13-13.

Alli Henderson (State College, Kutztown) has 186 kills, 22 assists, 30 aces, 242 digs and 26 blocks. Kutztown is 8-19.

Laura Hildebrand (State College, Pitt-Bradford) finished the year with five kills, 27 assists, 30 aces, 208 digs and 26 blocks. Pitt-Bradford finished at 14-13.

Abigail Horner (State College, Edinboro) has two assists, 11 aces and eight digs. Edinboro is 19-8.

Field hockey

Aiko Dzikowski (State College, Smith) played in nine games. Smith is 13-8.

Paige Meily (State College, Penn) has five assists. Penn is 9-8.

Jackie Snedden (State College, Lock Haven) is a member of the Lock Haven squad.

Shelby Querrry (Sate College, Indiana) was a member of the team that finished 6-13.

Swimming

Kirsten Hillsley (State College, Duquesne) placed second in the 100 breaststroke in 1 minute, 7.7 seconds in a meet against Youngstown State.

Wrestling

Cory Hazel (Penns Valley, Lock Haven) went 2-2 at 174 pounds in the Clarion Open.
