Mid Penn boys’ basketball tournament seedings, schedule announced

The Mid Penn announced its postseason basketball tournament schedule Monday evening — and the State College boys discovered the date for their first postseason game.

The Little Lions, the Commonwealth Division champ, will take on Greencastle in the Mid Penn semifinals at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 13 at Cumberland Valley High School. In the case of snow, the game will be made up Feb. 14.

If State College wins, it will play in the conference championship game at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 15 — against either Milton Hershey or Hershey, who play each other at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 13. If the title game is snowed out, it will be made up Feb. 17.

The Little Lions are 19-1 overall and have not yet lost in the Mid Penn this season. They won the tournament last season.
