Penns Valley football’s Jackson Romig is the Centre Daily Times’ Athlete of the Week for Oct. 11-16

The Centre Daily Times’ Athlete of the Week from Oct. 11-16 has been determined by our readers. Penns Valley sophomore quarterback Jackson Romig was voted this week’s Centre Daily Times Athlete of the Week. He won 38.11% of the vote (367 votes) with Philipsburg-Osceola volleyball’s Kalista Butler finishing second with 20.77% of the vote (200 votes).

Romig had five touchdowns in a 55-0 victory over Everett, which was his statistically best game of the season. Miles Brooks, Logan Crater and Ty Watson all caught one of Romig’s touchdown passes with John Meyer catching two.
