Here’s who, when and where Centre County soccer teams play in the District 6 playoffs

The high school sports postseason has arrived.

Centre County soccer teams Saint Joseph’s Catholic Academy, Penns Valley, Philipsburg-Osceola, Bellefonte and State College on the boys side, and Penns Valley, Bald Eagle Area, Bellefonte and State College on the girls side will all be vying for PIAA District 6 titles over the next two weeks.

Here’s who, when and where those teams are playing in the first round of districts:

Boys

1A: No. 2 Saint Joseph’s Catholic Academy vs. No. 3 United at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Bald Eagle Area (winner plays No. 1 Shamokin or Belleville Mennonite in the championship)

2A: No. 6 Penns Valley vs. No. 3 Huntingdon at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday at Mansion Park (winner plays No. 2 Richland or No. 7 Philipsburg-Osceola in the semifinals)

2A: No. 7 Philipsburg-Osceola vs. No. 2 Richland at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Richland (winner plays No. 3 Huntingdon or No. 6 Penns Valley in the semifinals)

3A: No. 2 Bellefonte vs. No. 3 Central Mountain at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 1 at Bellefonte (winner plays No. 1 Hollidaysburg or No. 4 Penn Cambria in the championship)

4A: No. 1 State College vs. No. 2 Altoona in the District 6 championship game (time, date and location TBA)

Girls

1A: No. 3 Penns Valley vs. No. 2 Bishop Guilfoyle at 6:15 p.m. Thursday at Mansion Park (winner plays No. 1 West Branch or No. 4 Moshannon Valley in the championship)

2A: No. 6 Bald Eagle Area vs. No. 3 Westmont Hilltop at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Greater Johnstown (winner plays No. 2 Central or No. 7 Juniata in the semifinals)

3A: No. 3 Bellefonte vs. No. 2 Tyrone at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 1 at Hollidaysburg (winner plays No. 1 Hollidaysburg in the championship)

4A: No. 3 State College vs. No. 2 Mifflin County at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 1 at Bellefonte (winner plays No. 1 Altoona in the championship)
