Bald Eagle Area volleyball’s Maddie Perry is the Centre Daily Times’ Athlete of the Week for Oct. 18-23
The Centre Daily Times’ Athlete of the Week from Oct. 18-23 has been determined by our readers. Bald Eagle volleyball’s Maddie Perry was voted this week’s CDT Athlete of the Week. Perry won 38.84% (745 votes) of the vote, followed by State College girls soccer, which finished second with 25.6% (491 votes).
Perry and Bald Eagle went 2-1 on the week with Perry having four kills in a loss to Philipsburg-Osceola last Tuesday. She followed with a 3-1 defeat of Penns Valley (26-24, 24-26, 25-18, and 25-17), where she had a team-high and season-high 18 kills along with 22 digs. The Eagles went on to defeat Clearfield (25-17, 25-15, and 25-15) on Thursday, where she contributed with 11 kills and 16 digs.
