Here’s who you named the Centre Daily Times’ Athlete of the Week for Feb. 21-26

Bellefonte boys basketball’s Gannon Brungard was voted the Centre Daily Times’ Athlete of the Week for Feb. 21-26 by our readers. He won with 44% of the vote (1,481 votes).

Finishing in second place was Bald Eagle unified bocce with 41% of the vote (1,384 votes) and Bellefonte wrestling’s Jude Swisher came in third with 10% of the vote (327 votes).

Brungard had a team-high 22 points in Bellefonte’s 63-45 victory over Hollidaysburg in the PIAA District 6 5A boys basketball semifinal. He will play next on Monday against Central Mountain in the championship game at Bald Eagle.
