The Centre Daily Times recently ran an online poll to ask readers which Centre County high school football team will win the most games this year, and the results are in.

Bald Eagle Area won with 56% of the vote (506 votes). The Eagles were followed by Class 6A state playoff semifinalist State College with 40% of the vote (366 votes), Penns Valley finished in third with 2% of the vote (22 votes) and Bellefonte and Philipsburg-Osceola tied for fourth place with 1% of the vote (eight votes each).

The Eagles are coming off of a 9-3 season and are returning a litany of starters. Sophomore quarterback Carson Nagle, junior wide receivers Cam Watkins, Kahale Burns, seniors Elliot Splain and Gavin Eckley are set to be the catalysts of the offense. Watkins and senior linebacker Trey Greene were at the forefront of their defensive prowess last season.
