Penns Valley jumper breaks school record during Bellwood Antis Invitational Track and Field meet
Athletes from Bald Eagle Area, Bellefonte, Penns Valley, Philipsburg-Osceola and Saint Joseph’s Catholic Academy competed in the Bellwood Antis Invitational Track and Field meet on Monday.
Penns Valley’s Miles Brooks was named the outstanding jumper award for the event. He took first place in the triple jump while setting a school record at 43-01.75 and was first in the long jump with a jump of 20-08.00.
First place finishers from Centre County athletes included Philipsburg-Osceola’s Chad Muckey in the 3200 meter run with a time of 10:07.36, Bald Eagle Area’s Kieran Jodon in the shot put, Penns Valley’s Abigial Stitzer in the 400 meter dash and Bald Eagle Area’s Abigail Hover in the javelin.
