St. Joseph’s falls in girls’ basketball season opener

Despite a close first quarter, Saint Joseph’s Catholic Academy fell 40-29 to Belleville Mennonite on Friday in the Belleville Tip Off Tournament.

Mallie Morgan and Grace Peachey led the Lady Trojans with a combined 33 points.

Janina Ronero and Asara Clark both scored eight points for the Lady Wolves.
