Mifflinburg edges Bellefonte in boys’ basketball

A slow start doomed Bellefonte in a 44-39 loss to Mifflinburg on Friday.

“We battled back from an early deficit but turnovers and missed layups hurt us,” Red Raiders coach Darin Hazel said.

Hunter Knisely led Bellefonte with 12 points, teammate Trent Fortney added seven.

The Red Raiders will host Juniata Valley on Monday.
