State College’s Tommy Sekunda named Athlete of the Week

State College’s Tommy Sekunda is a Centre Daily Times Athlete of the Week.

The Little Lion junior scored 23 points Saturday in a 57-43 boys’ basketball victory over Norristown in the consolation game of the Skip Coleman Tip-Off Invitational. Included in his total were three 3-pointers.

He drained another 3-pointer, and scored five points, in a 56-44 loss to LaSalle College in Friday’s opening game of the tournament.
