State College boys’ basketball falls to Carlisle 59-45
Coming off its first win of the season, State College couldn’t tally another, falling to Carlisle on Tuesday night 59-45.
The Little Lions downed Norristown over the weekend, led by a stellar performance by Tommy Sekunda. The junior showed up again, scoring a team-high 16 points on five field goals and 4 of 4 shooting at the foul line.
It wasn’t enough to carry the Little Lions over the Thundering Herd, though.
Carlisle’s Deshawn Millington had a night, scoring 18 points, half of which came from the charity stripe. Ben Milligan was a noteworthy contributor, nailing four 3-pointers and totaling 13 points.
State College is now 1-2 on the season, and, for its next game, travel to play Central Dauphin East on Friday.
