Beattie’s 42-point night paces Wolves to victory

Stephen Beattie couldn’t miss on Friday night, recording a school-record 42 points and pacing St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy to a 77-55 victory over Belleville Mennonite.

Beattie converted 16 field goals. Seven of them were 3-pointers, also a Wolves record.

Beattie’s brother, Shawn, contributed 13 points, and Mariano Sanchez also chipped in 10.

The Wolves are 3-2 on the season, and will play Juniata Valley on the road on Saturday, Dec. 26.
