Lady Little Lions rout Chambersburg

Powered by Kyla Irwin’s 30 points and a season-high from Kayla Hawbaker, the Lady Little Lions throttled Chambersburg 59-22 on Tuesday night.

Irwin converted on 12 field goals, and Hawbaker’s 16 points, more than she’s had in any game all year, was fueled by a trio of treys.

State College coach Bethany Irwin was pleased with Hawbaker’s performance.

“She found the hoop tonight,” the coach said. “She shot extremely well.”

State College improved its record to 6-1 on the season. The Lady Little Lions’ next game is at home on Tuesday, Dec. 29 against Northampton.
