Brown leads Clearfield over Bellefonte in boys’ basketball

Evan Brown scored a game-high 27 points in Clearfield’s 56-39 boys’ basketball win over Bellefonte on Wednesday.

“You have to give credit to Brown,” said Bellefonte coach Daren Hazel. “He really stepped up for them.

“We just ran out of gas in the second half,” Hazel added.

Both teams were tied at 22 at the break.

Hunter Knisely, Tyler Kreger, and Kellen Moss all scored nine points for the Red Raiders.

Bellefonte (2-5) will face Penns Valley on Monday in the Ram Winter Jam.
