SJCA boys’ basketball falls to Juniata Valley

Juniata Valley outscored St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy by 20 points in the fourth quarter to earn a 71-63 win at the Huntingdon Lions Tournament on Monday night.

St. Joseph’s jumped out to a 23-11 lead after the first quarter and led 49-37 going into the fourth. Stephen Beattie paced the Wolves with 14 points, and Shawn Beattie and Rocky Chirieleison each added 13.

Juniata Valley’s Cameron Collins hit six 3-pointers and scored a game-high 23 points.
