West Branch routs Bald Eagle Area
Some torrid shooting in the second and third quarters helped West Branch race away from Bald Eagle Area 78-56 Wednesday.
The Warriors outscored the Eagles 47-27 over the middle two frames to put the game away.
“The second quarter got away from us,” BEA coach Bill Butterworth said. “We got sloppy turning the ball over and weren’t getting back on defense.”
West Branch (6-1) was led by Kody Trude’s 22 points, Austin Krise’s 20 and Brandon Zwick’s 19.
Noah Chambers’ 13 points and Jordan Jones’ 10 paced the Eagles (3-5).
