Clearfield rolls past Bald Eagle Area

A big first half saw Clearfield cruise to a win over Bald Eagle Area on Wednesday night, 89-56.

Clearfield’s Will Myers scored a game-high 27 points in the effort, followed by Evan Brown with 21 points aided by five 3-pointers.

“They came out and shot 80 percent from the field in the first half,” said BEA head coach Bill Butterworth. “I don’t know that they even missed a 3-pointer in the first half. And then, in the second quarter, when they caught on fire we couldn’t recover.”

Bald Eagle Area (3-6) will travel to Tyrone (7-3) on Friday, while Clearfield (8-1) will travel to Penns Valley (10-1) on Friday.
