Penns Valley girls’ basketball cruises past St. Joseph’s

The St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy girls’ basketball team was down 25 points at halftime in a 62-29 loss to Penns Valley on Wednesday.

“We were in foul trouble early on and turnovers hurt us,” said Lady Wolves coach Brenna O’Connor.

Maci Ilgen led the Lady Rams with 12 points. Teammate Emma Butler added nine.

St. Joseph’s (2-8) will host Linden Hall on Saturday, while Penns Valley will travel to Clearfield on Friday.
