DuBois handles Bald Eagle Area in boys’ basketball

Bald Eagle Area couldn’t stop DuBois’ Zack Sloan in a 54-47 loss on Saturday.

Sloan finished with 29 points, including six 3-pointers.

Trey Butterworth led the Eagles with 12 points.

“We got after it and had the lead but couldn’t hang on,” said BEA coach Bill Butterworth. “It was a good effort, but not a win.”

The Eagles (3-7) will travel to Bellefonte on Tuesday.
