Philipsburg-Osceola takes 3rd at Juniata Duals

Philipsburg-Osceola posted a 3-2 record for a third-place finish in the Juniata Duals on Saturday.

The Mounties defeated Penns Valley (42-27), Newport (38-31), Selingsgrove (51-18). They fell to Soucon Valley (59-9) and Huntingdon (41-28).

Levi Hughes led P-O as their only undefeated wrestler with four wins. He recorded two pins and two decisions. He recieved a forfeit against Penns Valley.

Teammate Dakota Weitoish went 4-1. His only loss was 1-0 to Penns Valley’s Curtis Decker.

Mountie Nick Patrick was also 4-1 with three decisions and a pin. His only loss was to Huntingdon’s Josh Wagner 5-3.

Philipsburg-Osceola will travel to Tyrone on Wednesday.
