Tyrone tops Philipsburg-Osceola

Tyrone almost scored 50 points in the first half in its 75-59 victory over Philipsburg-Osceola on Friday.

“Tyrone is the best team in the league,” Lady Mountie coach Doug Myers said. “I thought we shot well tonight. They just shot really well.”

Alexis Cannistraci and Kasey Engle led the Lady Eagles with a combined 37 points, half of the team’s total.

Haylee Hayward and Halle Herrington led the Lady Mounties with 18 and 14 points, respectively.

P-O (4-8) will travel to Bald Eagle Area on Tuesday.
