State College ends drought in pool against Hershey

For the first time in a decade, the State College boys’ swimming and diving team got the best of Hershey in the pool.

The Little Lions (7-0) managed to edge the Trojans 96-90 Tuesday night.

Tobias Van Dyke led the way with victories in the 200- and 500-yard freestyle races. State College also got wins from Matt Morris in the 100 freestyle and Filip Turecky in the 100 backstroke.

The 200 medley relay team of Turecky, Benjamin Gingher, Jordan Hillsley and Morris also captured first place.
