Penns Valley falls to Bellwood-Antis in boys’ basketball
Penns Valley lost a close contest to Bellwood-Antis on Tuesday, 62-54.
Turnovers saw Penns Valley lose a five-point halftime lead, and a 20-point fourth quarter put the game away in favor of the Blue Devils.
“We spent the last five minutes trying to overcome a 10-point deficit,” said Rams head coach Terry Glunt. “That’s one of the best teams we’ve seen all year.”
Ethan McGee was a perfect 4-of-4 from the perimeter and Nathan Davis scored 17 points to lead the Bellwood-Antis effort.
Logan Pearce scored 17 and Zach Engle lent 14 to Penns Valley’s late comeback attempt.
