State College boys’ basketball extends winning streak
One night removed from defeating Cumberland Valley at home, State College continued its winning ways on Wednesday night, earning a 61-54 road win over Carlisle.
Drew Friberg led State College with 21 points, hitting six field goals and sinking 9 of 11 free-throw attempts. Tommy Sekunda trailed closely behind in the scorebook with 18 points.
After owning just a one-point lead after the third quarter, State College broke out for 21 in the fourth, highlighted by five Friberg free throws.
The Little Lions (7-8) have now won four straight contests, and will visit Central Dauphin on Friday.
